CAMPUS OF THE FUTURE
RCS has a rich 55 year history, and is a mainstay of the great Town of Riverside, California. The Wisenhunt Family founded RCS, and they began construction on the Monroe Campus 50 years ago. Now it's time for us to build a campus for the next 50 years. Education is changing rapidly and for the better. Advances in technology, such as the expansion of the Internet, the invention of the iPad, the availability of online curriculum and the ever increasing number of educational applications is changing the face of education. Classroom instruction is becoming student centered, project based and focused on critical and creative thinking. RCS has taken the lead by providing iPads to students, re-inventing our teaching and curriculum, and utilizing technology to supercharge every aspect of student development. Our students are sending experiments to the International Space Station, building robots and creating multiple projects using the latest technologies. RCS is building the school of the future, which needs the campus of the future! Join us in making an impact on time and eternity in the lives of countless young people.

Riverside Christian Schools has a proud history of educating young people for time and eternity since 1958. I am honored to become part of this great tradition as your new superintendent. My goal is to build upon the solid foundation laid by so many devoted and gifted followers of Christ over the years.
The strength of RCS is its people, From the facilities staff to the principals, from the preschool through the high school, it is the people that make this a loving, supportive, and productive place to grow. The most important thing anyone can learn here is how to develop and strengthen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That involves loving God, and loving your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27). We integrate this Christian focus into every aspect of our schools. Note that we accept Christians and non-Christians, and we love them all the same way.
In addition to spiritual growth, we focus on the intellectual, creative, physical, and social growth of our students. We view each student as an individual with his or her own special talents and callings from God. That belief inspires our approach to fostering individuality, while encouraging community values at the same time. The result is an innovative, transformative, and creative learning environment. We seek more than a transfer of knowledge, we seek to build understanding, wisdom, and application. The vvorld doesn't need more memorizers, we need forward thinking learners, who can respond to an increasingly complex and competitive global society.
The nature, character, and works of God are excellent, so we believe we should reflect excellence in all we do. I am confident that we can move from "Good to Great" as a school system, and I am marshalling all our assets toward that end. Thank YOU for joining us on this journey of growth and significance for every student. I challenge each of you to ask the Lord how you may contribute to this bold endeavor. Wonderful things are already happening, but I firmly believe the best is yet to come!
